Let Art Be Your Sanctuary

Welcome! I’m Jenny Mahan—artist, poet, nurse, and believer in the power of small steps and new beginnings. My art is a practice of defiant joy—a conscious act of hope and beauty in the midst of a tumultuous world. Each piece is an offering—a reminder that even in difficult times, beauty and hope persist, and that joy and art can be a radical, sustaining force. My work is also a celebration of nature’s rhythms—each piece a vibrant journey through forest and sky, stone, leaf, and water, crafted to bring tranquility, inspiration, and a touch of wonder to your space.

My creative process is deeply influenced by the Zentangle method—a meditative art form that celebrates intricate patterns and mindful mark-making one stroke at a time. I find joy in weaving these flowing, repetitive designs into my nature-inspired compositions, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and discover new details with every glance.

My work is a celebration of vibrant color, organic forms, and the quiet moments of reflection found in forests, fields, water, and skies.
